Final Year Student Dies Trying to Rescue a Trader from Electrocution

Family and Friends of Zaidu Haruna, a final year Biology Education undergraduate of Nasarawa State University, have been thrown into mourning after he lost his life in an attempt to save a trader who was being electrocuted at the GSM village in Keffi area of the state.

According to Yabaleft, Junauda Shaibu, a mobile phone repairer, was about to carry his work tools when he was electrocuted by a high tension wire on August 17.

Zaidu then made attempts to rescue Junauda when he also got electrocuted as well and reportedly died in the process.

Zaidu’s family and friends have taken to their social media to grieve over his death.
