Davido Terminates Lil Frosh’s Contract with DMW over Alleged Domestic Violence

DMW CEO and musician, Davido has announced the termination of signee, Lil Frosh‘s contract with his record label, Davido Music Worldwide.

The action was taken in light of an alleged a case of domestic violence which was levied against Lil Frosh by a Nigerian lady, Gift Camille.

Photos of the lady’s brutalized face were shared online by her brother and manager who told the story on Twitter.

In reaction, Davido took to his official Instagram page to share a press release that his record label has dissolved the singer’s contract, saying DMW doesn’t condone domestic abuse.

The statement reads,

“In light of recent allegations made against Mr. Sanni Goriola Wasiu a.k.a Lil Frosh, we would like to state that as a record label, domestic violence is not a trivial matter and we will never support or condone such behavior.

“There is no excuse for the actions of Lil Frosh and we understand that there is nothing that can be said or done to take away the insentitivity shown.

“Upon internal investigations carried out by the label, we are left with no option than to terminate the recording contract that exists between the label and Lil Frosh, effective immediately.
