Carol Afegbai, mother of Nigerian actress, Lilian Afegbai, has admitted to shooting a UNIBEN student in 2013 after being accused of killing him.

Recall that last week, in the heat of ongoing nationwide protests against police brutality and extrajudicial killings, Lilian mum was called out on social media for being involved in the death of one Ibrahim Momoh.

In her mother’s defense, the actress and reality TV star took refuted the claim, stating how an officer who committed the atrocity is currently serving jail time.

But in a recent video which surfaced online, the retired CSP Afegbai admitted to shooting the student in the leg late at night after he tried to attack the police team at the checkpoint.

According to her, the young man bled to death after being taken back to the police station.
