“We Are At War:” Benjamin Netanyahu Reacts To Co-ordinated Attacks On Israel
Citizens of Israel, we are at war.
Not an escalation, not an operation, but at war.
This morning Hamas launched murderous surprise attacks against the State of Israel and its citizens.
We have been at it since early morning. I convened the heads of all the security cabinet. I instructed them -first of all – to clear out all the terrorists who infiltrated our communities – this operation is currently been carried out.

At the same time, I have ordered an extensive reserve mobilisation and a retaliatory war with a strength and scope the enemy have never seen before.
The enemy will pay a steep price, one he has never imagined.
In the meantime, I call on all Israeli citizens to strictly obey and follow the laid-down instructions by the Army and Military High Command.
