25-year-old Man Set to Marry 85-year-old Grandma after Falling in Love [Video]

A 25-year-old man simply known as Muima has fallen in love with an 85-year-old grandmother known as Thereza.
The young man, in a chat with Afrimax, opened up about his feelings for the mother of 8 and how they fell in love with each other.
Muima and Thereza are hoping to officially tie the knot despite objections and disapproving comments from family and friends.
The woman’s kids and her lover’s friend, Kakule have all expressed concerns over the 60 years age gap between them.
Speaking on how they met, Muima who is a Congolese, said he had left his country for another African country to further his education at the university.
He and a friend rented an apartment and it so happened that Thereza was the landlady. After observing her behaviour for some time, he came to the realisation that she was the one for him.
“I remember one Friday when my colleague wasn’t around, I was hungry and we had no food. I was very weak. And out of nowhere, the old woman brought me some food. She came and served me with too much care,” he recalled.
On her part, the woman who has 20 grand children said she loves Muima as much as he loves her.
In her words; “I am 85 years of age. I have 8 children and 20 grandchildren. According to my boyfriend’s age, he could be my 5th grandchild. He loves me and I also love him. I am now ready to put on the wedding dress and ring.”
Muima also sent a message to those who are opposed to their relationship, informing them that she makes him happy.
“This is my choice, This is my happiness. As everyone has theirs. “The way she behaved and treated me pushed me to loving her. Though she is an old woman and in reality could be my grandmother, but so what! I love her,” he said.
