Mbaka had appealed to his fellow priests to stop castigating him for praying for and blessing the IPOB leader over his travails.

A former Deputy-Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has called out Father Ejike Mbaka over his support for Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

According to Uche Mefor, the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu State keeps supporting Kanu, but doesn’t speak about the killings linked to the outlawed group.

Mefor condemned Mbaka for not speaking out against alleged attrocities perpetrated by IPOB and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Mefor took to his social media page to lament and wrote:

“Reverend Father Mbaka and Reverend Father Ebube Monso, where are your consciences that you have kept a blind eye to the abomination going on in Igboland and supporting Nnamdi Kanu on whose inspiration the horror and carnage started?

“Ask Kanu why they turned their weapons against unarmed civilians in Igboland (killing their people in the name of Biafra) and stop the pretence,” he wrote on his known Facebook page on Wednesday.”
