Phrank Shaibu, a Special Assistant, Public Communications, to Atiku Abubakar has accused Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress of engaging in drug trafficking.
He said Tinubu was used by drug lords to launder money.
According to him, Tinubu worked for Mobil Oil and Natural Gas Company in the 1980s, and his salary then was $2400.
He wondered how Tinubu was able to deposit $661,000 in 1990 in his bank account when his salary was a mere $2400.
He further stated that Bola Ahmed Tinubu had a direct connection with the drug lords and was used to launder their funds.
According to him, a drug lord took tinubu and opened an account in the Heritage Bank of Nigeria in 1989.

The details show that he did not have any other sources of income apart from working with Mobil Nigeria Limited, and his salary was $2400.
“How will he deposit $661,000 in 1990 just in one-year intervals?” he asked.
